Batapata International Artists Workshop is an annual event that brings together international and local artist to work together for two intensive weeks. this is followed by a women's workshop/outreach programme.

artists will work together on an equal footing for two weeks, all
basic materials, food and accomodation are provided for the the artists. intensive work will be complemented by scheduled group discussions, critique of work done and slide talks by artists.

participants

-15 local artists drawn from all over zimbabwe plus ten artists invited from other countries.
-of the ten visitors, 4 will be selected to participate in the women's workshop and community base programmes.
