ann marie CURRAN
IRELAND
ANN MARIE is a quiet , well composed , highly meditative Irish photographer from Dublin. Marie brought an array of different cameras, just like a painter would bring different brush sizes. As a photographer her shots had to be artistically critical of its subject matter. With the captivating view of Lake Kariba , Ann Marie found an inspirational spot which she made her studio, near the beach where she could be able to see distant objects on the lake or across the lake or above the lake. Through every day investigations, she came up interesting subjects about the lake view and also she took some of her best shots for artists Lutanda Mwamba and Norman O'Flynn during their "Krisnablue" body print performance session. To her a picture is a canvas, where she throws her composition in a more steady manner , she develops the concept and take photograph a little latter, when she is really convinced about the contents within the picture. Her work made other artists realize the importance of Photographic Art, thereby learning more about content set up, conceptual meaning of the subject.
