| From Botswana, was surprised to see women crushing stones with a fourteen pounds hammer on Zambian road sides, something which does not exist in that country. It was this feature, which inspired him to depict the story in stone and wood. His style figures have elongated limbs, a very interesting exaggeration of representational art, he made two women looking into the mirror and the other selling stones, with her diving posture in full arms stretch. Sherperd could not hestitate to talk about his style with friends, " I was fascinated by the idea of seeing people selling stones using four pounds hammer , so just push yourself to the limit and be yourself than copying someone, and this workshop was a very inspiring and motivating , I enjoyed interacting with different people and the place beautiful". | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
