ZENZELE
is a painter and goes beyond his genre , crossing over into strange disciplines
for new ideas and being one the Insakartists 2003 organizers, he said about
his work, " I have reserved this year as the year for 'Schematic
Tantrums', inspired from visiting ancient rock art sites of Zambia ,
it is a year of throwing tantrums on the canvas like never before in my
life, and in this workshop I was just continuing throwing tantrums as part
of my developmental process of showcasing tantrums, but in a pressure cooker
atmosphere like such Triangle model workshop of two weeks, one should plan
carefully how to do as many experiments as possible , because of long term

- Border, is the most outstanding work for Zenzele,a project developed
with Ngamanya Banda, he derived his concept from beach volleyball were the
material cloth was painted in schematic style and hanged as a volley ball
net between two poles. Simply the people did not realize that they were
part of the material for this art work, the interactive nature of playing
volleyball attracted different people not only artists, to participate in
the art process of 'volleyart'. Cross - Border was meant to
cross different borders until a video mosaic of volleyart can be seen showing
Cross - Border in different locations across the world, . Other performances
include 'Nyami nyami lunch' and 'ritual' with Lutanda Mwamba
