Born in 1953, in Luanshya Zambia. Self- taught artist. Joined the Zambia Art Foundation workshop at Evelyn Hone College 1977-81.Since 1978 has participated in many exhibitions and workshops in Zambia and elsewhere in Southern Africa. Has also exhibited in Europe, and North America. He also worked for Mpapa Gallery. Style played a major role in the formative years of Mbile International Artists Organising Committee, he contributed as a treasurer and secretary from 1992 to 1995.

He is one of the long experienced artists who have witnessed a lot artistic transitions.His art is centred around compound or ghetto landscape features of children playing , women busy with their duties and life as lived.
