Born Vincentio Phiri in Wankie, Zimbabwe educated at St Bernard's high School. He came to Zambia in 1973, Self-taught artist.has exhibited in Zambia and abroud since 1974 has participated in many International artists' workshops.

Vincentio is an abstract painter. Considering that abstract painting is not much appreciated or understood in this part of Africa, he has continued to follow his vision. His works are more positive and dynamic, the forms more assured and the handling of colour and paint more provocative and daring. His canvases are the embodiment of his ideas and experiences.
