Born Kenneth Chulu, Zenzele prefers Pan African themes to dominate his work and throughout his career he has been working and researching on afrocentric subjects within the continent and the diaspora. Zenzele works in mostly oil on canvas, he considers himself a descendant of ancient clan of rock painters, just changed the media. Zenzele expresses his philosophical ideas and ideals in various forms beyond painting. A member of the 1995 Imiti Ikula ( up-coming artists ) group and has held three solo shows and participated in international artists workshops - Mbile 1997 and Thapong 2001 as well as local ones and shown his style in more than 40 group exhibitions at home and abroad. His dream is to show his work in all capital cities of Africa, 2001 he was in Gaberone and 2002 in Lilongwe for his Traveling Mind exhibition. He won the best - two dimension artist Henry Tayali Award in 2001. He continues the afrocentric journey in ancient rivers, his work has been exhibited in UK, Germany, Japan , Greece , regionally in Zimbabwe, Botswana, Malawi and South Africa.
