Jimnah Kimani

My work has gradually changed over the years but my inspiration has remained the same. It's all about expressing myself, trying to find the true meaning of life, its traits and sometimes raise questions that bother me as a person, not necessarily giving answers.

I have learnt to work with different Media that give me freedom in what am doing. I'm primarily a painter and my paintings are characterized by the use of bright colors and thick strokes using a palette knife. I like to think of the canvas as my play ground and paint as my ball. I have recently started working on metal sculptures and the joy in this is when I make the metal obey or conform to what I want to archive.
