Born in Addis Ababa Ethiopia in 1965 and graduated from the Addis Ababa school of fine art in 1987. He has done numerous jobs ranging from photography for the ministry of health for the Ethiopian government and as an instructor for the school of fine art in Asmara.
He came to Kenya in 2000 and started a career in art that has seen him do numerous solo and group shows in Ethiopia, Germany and Italia. Most of his paintings are on water colour, acrylics and wood and they express life, love and other fundamental feelings within geometrical shapes.
