"Art
is my genius and it is my interest."
I started to study art in 1995 at John Muafangejo Art Centre in
Windhoek. I completed these studies after five years.
In
1998 I was awarded the bursary to the BAT Centre in Durban, South
Africa for three months. After that I was enrolled at University
of Namibia part time for non-degree purposes.
Employment:
Educational Officer at National Art Gallery since 1996.
Art teacher for Culture in the Neighbourhood Project and workshop
co-ordinator for art teachers at primary schools.
Mural
Painting:
In Namibia, Finland and Farbfieber project from Germany. Series
of murals in small towns in Namibia about domestic violence and
violence against women and children.
Workshops:
Tulipamwe 1997 and 1998, Mbile (Zambia) 1998, SADC Workshop in Namibia
2000.
Works
in printmaking, sculpture, painting and murals.
