Tulipamwe Namibia has been an annual event since 1994.

By concentrating exclusively on the active creative process, Tulipamwe Namibia affords artists the opportunity to focus their creative abilities to the fullest extent.

Participants are selected on application and include a balance of artists working in different mediums who will be able to exchange ideas and techniques in a stimulating learning atmosphere. A special effort is made to maintain a gender balance.

The International Workshop caters for twenty-five invited artists from different parts of Namibia, the region and abroad to live and work together for two weeks in an intensive working environment.
